Have a Mountain to Climb? Anne a lay Apostle

Lucky I’ve kept out of it until last night

Introducing Geniusv101.

I’ve added this lil EA to a EURCHF M5 chart and had it trading last night.

My settings have it running 7 hours during the good period for the robot, it’s very impressive from what I witnessed in the back tests ;)

Anyways, it made one trade yesterday when i was fiddling around with settings which close for a small loss, but today when I had it prepared with good settings, it made 5 trades, all of which were winners. A total of $5.52 (7.71 Pips)

Of course i stupidly left MD Pro to run last night even though I knew it wasn’t a good idea, luckily it was only one trade, on gbpchf, closing for a $20.26 (38 Pip) loss

So considering the whole experimental feel of the trading period (?) (Does anyone get what I mean from that? haha) and the fact that I let the EAs run in such a rocky period, the ~$15 loss for the day wasn’t bad

Anyways, I’m off for a holiday tomorrow, so there will be no trading for a week or two.

That’s the good news, the bad-ish news is that I finally had a loss.

It was a 33 pip loss, BUT the other 3 trades raked in 26 pips, so an overall loss of 7 pips for the day is what I’d consider a good day.

On a closing note, there has been alot of negative talk about GBPUSD trading on MegaDroid in this current trend that is going on between this pair.

I’m going to read-up and assess whether on not to let it trade over the next week or two.

Personally I think it’s just because some traders don’t realize that there is no 100% sure way of trading and since this is the first loss in quite a while they are just under-experienced and scared, but who knows.

I finally broke-even my total forex balance (Over my entire forex trading life); I’ve deposited $750 and lost alot, but now my balance is at $750!

It’s all thanks to MegaDroid and it’s amazing reliability.

MegaDroid managed 3 trades before midnight last night.

2 x GBPCHF and 1 x USDCAD – None were losers

1 of each pair’s trades broke even, and the remaining GBPCHF trade pulled through with 13 pips profit.

If I hadn’t added the new pairs yesterday, I wouldn’t have seen any trades today, so it’s good to know I suppose.

I broke another % towards my target finally. I’ve been expecting 1% per day, but MD Pro has been lazy, hopefully this will begin the trend I want.

Sure I was getting a 100% win rate, but what’s the fun in that if you only get 1 trade per week?

Soooo, I went ahead and checked out what pairs have been performing well with which logics, and after alot of studying of other’s forward-testing and my own backtesting, I’ve come to the conclusion to go from 3 pairs (EURUSD, EURCHF, USDJPY) to 6 pairs (EURUSD, EURCHF, USDJPY, GBPCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD).

I’ve found that the pairs that I have added actually performed better then my previous ’safe’ three pairs over the past couple of months, and even before then.

My risk was already tooo high trading 0.1 lots, so I have halved the risk to 0.05 lots, although I’m trading double the amount of pairs I was before.

Even so, it’s very rare that MD will open trades on multiple pairs at the same time, so I feel I have effectively halved my risk.

I’m excited o see how things pan out from now on.

I’m going to have to get used to the idea of losing trades being a normal part of the day with alot of these fluctuant pairs, but I’m confident I’ll get back in the game.

Why?

Well MegaDroid is being very quiet again.

Oh well, no change is better than loss I guess.

Anyways, I got a trade a couple of days ago on EURUSD.

T’was a good enough trade of 4 pips, for $4.44 profit.

There were two other trades from MegaDroid Pro previous to this one, both were EURUSD and closed at breakeven (No Profit or Loss)

I think it’s time I re-evaluated the other pairs and see if there are any worthwhile throwing in there to make things more exciting.

I post in the middle of the week?

Not normal considering the past month right?

Well, Megadroid finally made some significant trades last night.

3 in fact; 1 x EURCHF and 2 x USDJPY

Total of 40 pips; 10 pips for EURCHF and 9 + 21 pips for USDJPY

They were all shorts both in the sense that they were sells, PLUS they were actually really short trades in time.

That’s $10.74 + $25.72 + $11.13 = $47.59 and I’m now another 5% closer to my $1000 target!

Well it was the day of my birthday, and MegaDroid decided to make a trade or two.

More Accurately… two.

One EURUSD and one USDJPY trade, making 3 and 5 pips respectively.

So, for the day, I made $9.79

Although quite low, was still good considering the non-existance of trades recently.

On another related topic, I decided to scrap the money management and just set MegaDroid to trade at 0.1 lot size for each pair.

And I’ve dropped the pairs to just EURUSD, EURCHF and USDJPY due to inefficient spreads.
