First Loss in Months!

September 28th, 2009 Sam J No comments

Thursday night/ Friday morning saw 4 trades, things seem to be picking up.

That’s the good news, the bad-ish news is that I finally had a loss.

It was a 33 pip loss, BUT the other 3 trades raked in 26 pips, so an overall loss of 7 pips for the day is what I’d consider a good day.

-$5.13 for the day.

On a closing note, there has been alot of negative talk about GBPUSD trading on MegaDroid in this current trend that is going on between this pair.

I’m going to read-up and assess whether on not to let it trade over the next week or two.

Personally I think it’s just because some traders don’t realize that there is no 100% sure way of trading and since this is the first loss in quite a while they are just under-experienced and scared, but who knows.

We’ll see ;)

Happy Trading,

Logic = 3

Not Aggressive or in Recovery Mode

Modelling quality 90.00%

Profit Factor 4.31

EURGBP

As I’m sure you can see, the last months were hardly profitable, which indicates to me that this strategy was created using older data that isn’t valid in the current market conditions.

Of one thing I am sure though, this pair is not profitable with this robot in these current conditions.

Here is the last few months ‘zoomed’ in to give you a clear understanding of the conditions:

1.44 Profit Factor

Conclusion

I’ll not be accepting EUR/GBP unless conditions change back to as they were a few months ago, OR if MD is updated to suit the current market.

Has one massive unavoidable loss on logic 1, but logic one performs best if you turn the blind-eye to this loss.

Still, that’s not possible, so I’m giving this pair a miss too.

Cheers.
