Well after trying Forex Gator for a couple months, I can say that their signals ARE OK, but their general lack of organization and services to their hard-paying customers is dissapointing.
One of the biggest gripes I have with them is that all signal providers I’m using credited at least an extra week for free due to the down-trading period over the holidays, because obviously anyone could just avoid renewing their subscription until after the holiday period, which is a bit annoying to do, therefore you would think that Forex Gator would reward their customers with an extra week or whatever to say thanks and just general good service.
But no, we simply got an email every day with no signals to trade…
I mean they could have at least done it and branded it a ‘Christmas Present’ for their loyal customers or something, hell I don’t care I just want my moneys worth.
OK, so I got over that, obviously they just are penny-baggers like alot of people are these days. It sure darkened my view on them, but didn’t kill my desire to stay with them.
WHAT DID KILL my desire for them was this; I cancelled my recurring payments through PayPal so that they wouldn’t charge me for the next month as I was not going to be able to utilise their signals for next month (I won’t be around my computer to trade). My idea was to re-subscribe again after that month when I was back into action and ready to trade.
So anyways, I cancelled it and as any normal person would expect, I’d receive the rest of my ALREADY PAID month’s signals…
But no, the next day i never got a signal email.
So I emailed and asked, apparently when you cancel your recurring payments, it instantly cancels your email service too, whether paid for or not!
I asked if they could honor my already paid month and pleaded my case, but they just sent me links to the terms and conditions.
These people have NO DESIRE to keep their customers happy, all they want to do is grow their own pockets, which leaves me wondering how they can provide a service that is meant to earn you money…
Not to mention the fact that about half of the signal emails they send are either missing signals or the trade information is incorrect.
There was countless times that I received an email with wrong entry points or TP/SL settings.
They DID however realise their mistakes before it was too late every time, but not everyone is able to read their emails multiple times between setting up the signals and the trades opening.
So if you ask my opinion, avoid Forex Gator entirely.
Don’t believe the clowns:
- MAJOR BAD POINTS:-
- The monthly fee is too high.
- Their customer satisfaction drive is absolute crap.
- All they want is YOUR money.
- Very disorganised signal emails.
- No satisfaction guarantee (Very ridiculous, as the only major signal service that doesn’t offer the next month free when they don’t reach a target, especially from a signal service with such a ‘good’ history)
- EVERY GOOD POINT:-
- Fairly quick replies to emails.
- Decent history.
Is that enough for you people?
Whatever you choose to do, I’m sure they will meet their demise soon enough unless they pick up on their customer satisfaction.
That’s my rant complete, I hope I save a few souls, over the next months I’ll roll out some better signal services to further compact my argument towards Forex Gator.
Happy Trading Everyone!
